The Evangelicals got it wrong. And they’ve been doing it wrong since their beginnings.
We are quickly approaching a point where the door on repentance from dead works is closing. Mind you, I am not referring to repentance from sin, towards faith in God resulting in salvation by grace, but those things that are displeasing to God.
Dead works include the following things-
Believing that God doesn’t see, doesn’t hear: believing we can do what we want with impunity.
Failing stand for righteousness.
Abandoning the fatherless: the murder of the innocent.
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. (Ps. 82:3)
Choose you this day
A division is quickly coming and the lines are being drawn. A day is coming where there will no longer be a place for those who would ride the middle of the fence or give comfort and aid to the enemies of righteousness.
But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: ‘Behold, I am going to bring on this city and all its towns the entire disaster that I have declared against it, because they have stiffened their necks so as not to listen to My words.’ (Jeremiah 19:15)
The Vaccine Passport of today is a forerunner to the Mark of the Beast.
People who refuse to comply with vaccine mandates are increasingly putting themselves in positions where they cannot buy or sell – in one way or another.
Satan is not creative
Satan does not create things out of whole cloth: he mimics the things of God, to give them a semblance of truth. I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying, “the best lies have an element of truth mixed in.”
Consider this Godly prerequisite:
You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.”
Deuteronomy 11:18
These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart … You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
As I suggested in a previous blog, the things that we allow to be impressed upon our heart and soul are ultimately those things we work out of our existence as a form of worship.
Philosophy and Religion are tightly coupled
Philosophy adherents maintain a belief and trust in a system, and they work out their philosophy with their hands – as a sign so to speak. Such “working out” may take the form of religious services, or it may take the form of musings through lectures, papers, and books.
Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.’
Daniel 7:23
Hence, when one is being forced to worship an ungodly philosophy of the state, then you’re being forced to worship the beast.
Life and Liberty
Denying people their constitutionally protected liberties and lives without due process is an ungodly, criminal philosophy. We may rightly suggest that denying someone the right to work when there are other, perhaps less desirable opportunities, hardly rises to any qualification of denying one protected liberties.
But we all know, this one example is but the tip of the iceberg.
The issue of how to “motivate” vaccine compliance has generated increasing interest, with commentators such as Mike Cernovich writing: ‘Government won’t force you to take vaccine. Amazon will. Airlines will. Banks will. You won’t be able to buy, sell, or trade without the vaccine.‘
Finally, we must understand that everything that has happened in the past, or will happen in the future, has always first been tested or performed as a “trial run.”
What has been, it is what will be, and what has been done, it is what will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9
To understand what will come in the future, we need to look to the past, or perhaps even the present (the near past):
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times {those} things which have not been done – saying, ‘My plan will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure;
